How’s a poor reviewer to get anything done when faced with a book like this! I spent quite a while doing a word search, even longer searching out the answers in the Bible for a crossword and just hadn’t got time to do a ‘magic square’ or anything else. Goodness knows how long it took Tony Spiller to set all the puzzles, I think he must have found it as compulsive to set them as it is to do them. Who would have thought that searching through the Bible could be so entertaining, yet educational as well. That is the point of the exercise. It makes you look into the Bible more deeply than many of us would otherwise. The whole of the Bible, not just the bits we are familiar with as readings on a Sunday or in our daily reading. If puzzles are for you, then rest assured these will stretch your brain.
